Google Drive with secure login
No physical (paper) records are kept.
6. Who Data Is Shared With
Vet reports or updates may be shared with the referring veterinary practice, but only with the client's prior consent.
Information included in session notes may be used in social medial posts, but only with the client’s prior consent.
Client data may be used to generate invoices through Intuit Ltd’s QuickBooks. Intuit’s privacy policy can be found here.
We also use Squarespace to manage our website, contact form, and marketing communications. Squarespace securely stores email lists, data from forms, and is used to send occasional marketing emails. Squarespace’s privacy policy can be found here.
No data is ever sold or passed to third-party companies for marketing purposes.
7. How Long Data Is Retained
All client data (including session notes and communications) is retained for 7 years in line with industry best practice and legal obligations. After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Marketing Communications
We occasionally send marketing emails to individuals who have explicitly signed up to our mailing list via our website. These emails may include updates, educational content, or information about services.
Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
We use Squarespace’s built-in email system to manage and send marketing emails securely.
